SEASONAL/TEMPORARY - EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Located within the rolling hills of Northumberland County and bordered by Lake Ontario in the South and Rice Lake in the North,
the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand is seeking a Seasonal/Temporary Full Time Volunteer Program Co-ordinator.

Volunteer Program Co-ordinator– Temporary, Full Time

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Office/Clerk and Parks and Recreation Manager, the Volunteer Program Co-ordinator will be responsible for creation of a
Community programs schedule and working with community volunteers to identify program gaps as well as the related administrative functions.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:

  • Working towards college diploma in business administration, or another related field or similar relevant experience;
  • Experience working with the public;
  • Superior customer services skills;
  • Excellent computer skill including Microsoft Office.
  • Meet the Canada Summer Jobs Grant criteria by being under 30 years of age.

Compensation:
The wage for this position is $17.00/hour based on a 35 hour work week from May to the end of August.

Data Entry and Website Support Assistant– Temporary, Full Time

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Office/Clerk and Heritage Alnwick/Haldimand, the Data Entry and Website Support Assistant
will be responsible for assisting with Energy Audit data entry, assisting with heritage projects, website site updates and the related administrative functions.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:
